First French-Israeli ERC Recipients Interdisciplinary Symposium in Jerusalem, March 8-11, 2010

The France-Israel High Council for Science and Technology, The Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology, the French Embassy in Israel and the France-Israel Foundation organized a three-day scientific meeting gathering young French and Israeli recipients of the Research Starting Grants from the European Research Council.

This multi-disciplinary conference comprised 15 young scientists from Israel and 12 from France who received research grants from the European Union for ground-breaking research. These outstanding research scientists have the potential of being candidates for the Nobel Prize in the future. During the three days of deliberations, the research scientists from both countries presented the results of their work in a variety of areas for which they received the prestigious grants.
